1. General membership:

General membership level provides a number of benefits to our members and requires a qualification of at least 1 year of QA experience or specialized education.

Upon submission of your application(info@qagroup.com.ua) and verification that you meet the above requirements, your information is entered into our member database, and you are formally recognized as a QAGA general member.

2. Contributor Membership (Selective & Merit-Based)

Contributor Membership is a prestigious, merit-based level of affiliation within the QAGA community, awarded only to professionals who demonstrate extraordinary ability, leadership, and noticeable impact in the field of software quality assurance. Membership is by invitation or formal application and requires rigorous evaluation by the Contributor Review Board(former name: QA Management Club)—a closed committee of distinguished QA professionals with at least 10 years of verified experience in the industry, academia, or community leadership.

Evaluation Procedure

  1. Application Submission
    Applicants submit a portfolio of evidence documenting professional experience, technical leadership, published works, and community engagement.

  2. Initial Screening
    The QAGA Secretariat reviews applications for completeness and verifies that applicants meet minimum eligibility standards before forwarding them to the Review Board.

  3. Review Board Peer Review and Scoring
    Each application is independently evaluated by at least three members of the Contributor Review Board according to the criteria below. Review and scoring require 2 stages :

    • Applicants' minimum eligibility standards review and Q&A.

    • Evaluators assign points (0–8) based on evidence quality, depth of contribution, and industry impact. The applicant has to provide answers to all questions the Review Board may have.

      • Scoring is conducted by calculating an average score between all judges for the candidate.

  4. Final Review and Approval
    Applicants must receive a composite average score of at least 3 points to qualify. Only candidates with exceptional professional records and demonstrated influence on the QA discipline are admitted. Acceptance rates average below 5%.

  5. Annual Verification and Renewal
    Contributor Members are required to maintain active professional engagement. Every three years, members submit updated materials for re-evaluation by the Review Board.

The final decision on Contributor Membership is determined through a multi-stage peer review designed to identify professionals whose work demonstrates measurable impact on the quality-assurance industry through innovation, scholarly excellence, awards, and broad recognition.

Each applicant is evaluated across 4 weighted categories. To ensure the selection of individuals whose work significantly advances the field, the score (≥ 100%) is derived from Industry Contribution and Publications / Scholarly Impact, Interviews, and Awards.

In total, with all extra points, a candidate can receive 8 credits. The Review Board will only consider candidates who have 3 credits or above. This is putting the candidate in the top 1% of the QA professionals.

For the last 2 years, 50 candidates have applied for Contributor Membership. Out of 50 candidates:

- Only 30 had passed the minimum requirement threshold.

- Out of 30, only 5 were able to receive 3 credits of Final Review board review.

- Out of 5 candidates, only 2 received the Contributor membership and had demonstrated sufficient influence on the QA discipline.

The acceptance rate for candidates seeking Contributor membership is below 5%.

As of 2025, QAGA has 20000 general members, 5 Contributor members( 0.025% of General members ) across 4 countries.
