At the Quality Assurance Group Association ( QAGA ) we believe that sharing knowledge helps everyone. The association's goal is to share knowledge among QA in order to improve the software quality industry.

Our association has several levels of membership:
- General Membership
- Contributors membership (Selective & Merit-Based)
Each membership carries no financial barrier, but is highly selective based on merit
1. General membership:
General membership level provides a number of benefits to our members and requires a qualification of at least 1 year of QA experience or specialized education.
General membership includes such benefits:
- Attend QAGA monthly webinars,
- Receive updates on any training resources created by our contributor members.
- Participate in Q&A on any QAGA online webinars.
Upon submission of your application(info@qagroup.com.ua) and verification that you meet the above requirements, your information is entered into our member database, and you are formally recognized as a QAGA general member.
2. Contributor Membership (Selective & Merit-Based)
Contributor Membership is a prestigious, merit-based level of affiliation within the QAGA community, awarded only to professionals who demonstrate extraordinary ability, leadership, and noticeable impact in the field of software quality assurance. Membership is by invitation or formal application and requires rigorous evaluation by the Contributor Review Board(former name: QA Management Club)—a closed committee of distinguished QA professionals with at least 10 years of verified experience in the industry, academia, or community leadership.

Application Submission
Applicants submit a portfolio of evidence documenting professional experience, technical leadership, published works, and community engagement. -
Initial Screening
The QAGA Secretariat reviews applications for completeness and verifies that applicants meet minimum eligibility standards before forwarding them to the Review Board. -
Review Board Peer Review and Scoring
Each application is independently evaluated by at least three members of the Contributor Review Board according to the criteria below. Review and scoring require 2 stages :-

Evaluators assign points (0–8) based on evidence quality, depth of contribution, and industry impact. The applicant has to provide answers to all questions the Review Board may have.

Scoring is conducted by calculating an average score between all judges for the candidate.

Final Review and Approval
Applicants must receive a composite average score of at least 3 points to qualify. Only candidates with exceptional professional records and demonstrated influence on the QA discipline are admitted. Acceptance rates average below 5%. -
Annual Verification and Renewal
Contributor Members are required to maintain active professional engagement. Every three years, members submit updated materials for re-evaluation by the Review Board.
Minimum eligibility standards:
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 7 years in QA or related roles; emphasis on leadership positions such as QA Manager, Architect, or Head of QA.
- Industry Contribution: Demonstrated impact through process innovation, frameworks, or methodologies that have advanced QA practices across organizations or the industry. Endorsements from company management or project management confirming the demonstrated impact.
- Publications: Authorship of articles, research papers, or case studies published in recognized industry journals, platforms, or conferences.
- Conference Participation & Public Speaking: Speaking engagements, panel participation, or training delivery at national or international QA events.
- Mentorship & Education: Contribution to talent development—teaching, conducting workshops, mentoring junior professionals, or contributing to QA education programs.
- Peer Recommendations: At least three independent letters of endorsement from senior QA experts or leaders outside the applicant’s current organization.
Final Review standards:
The final decision on Contributor Membership is determined through a multi-stage peer review designed to identify professionals whose work demonstrates measurable impact on the quality-assurance industry through innovation, scholarly excellence, awards, and broad recognition.

The Contributor Review Board(former name: QA Management Club) consists of at least 3 senior QA professionals, each with 10+ years of verified leadership in enterprise-level quality assurance, process engineering, or academic research. 2025 review board consists of :

Marianna Nechypor ( Founder and CEO of QArtRock, major contributor through courses and workshops in QAGA, 10 years of QA leadership experience)

Kostiantyn Teltov ( QA professional with over 15 years of experience in the software development industry, author of more than 20 articles on QA automation, major contributor through courses and workshops in QAGA)

Roman Marinsky ( QA automation expert with 15 years of experience in the field, author of more than 30 articles on QA automation. Teacher and mentor in multiple schools. Contributor in creation of a new automation framework. )

Members of the Board are themselves recognized as authors, speakers, or creators of QA frameworks, ensuring that evaluations are performed by established peers.
Scoring Framework
Each applicant is evaluated across 4 weighted categories. To ensure the selection of individuals whose work significantly advances the field, the score (≥ 100%) is derived from Industry Contribution and Publications / Scholarly Impact, Interviews, and Awards.

Publications & Scholarly Work — 1 point ( Puts candidate in the top 1% of QA professionals as per the article: Proportion of Quality Assurance Specialists Contributing to Scholarly Literature: A Global Perspective )

Authorship of scholarly articles, white papers in recognized QA journals, or conference proceedings.

Evidence that publications have influenced industry practices, standards, or education.( 1 extra credit )

Co-authorship or editorial contributions to collaborative research projects are also considered.

Endorsements from recognized QA communities or specialists: confirming the impact and influence of the applicant’s innovations. ( 1 extra credit )

Interview published by any of the recognized QA media resources of the candidate

Awards received by any recognized QA media acknowledging the outstanding achievements of the candidate.

In total, with all extra points, a candidate can receive 8 credits. The Review Board will only consider candidates who have 3 credits or above. This is putting the candidate in the top 1% of the QA professionals.
Membership statistics:
For the last 2 years, 50 candidates have applied for Contributor Membership. Out of 50 candidates:
- Only 30 had passed the minimum requirement threshold.
- Out of 30, only 5 were able to receive 3 credits of Final Review board review.
- Out of 5 candidates, only 2 received the Contributor membership and had demonstrated sufficient influence on the QA discipline.
The acceptance rate for candidates seeking Contributor membership is below 5%.
As of 2025, QAGA has 20000 general members, 5 Contributor members( 0.025% of General members ) across 4 countries.
